Jeanne, they sure do if the immigrant was of Germanic origin as the males age 16 and over who were not English citizens were required to sign oaths of allegiance to the British Crown and to the government of the Colony of PA. The 3 volume Pennsylvania German Pioneers by Strassburger and Hinke gives the ship lists from 1727 to 1808 when the oaths were no longer required. Volume 2 contains the actual signatures of the men taking the oaths. What name are you looking for on the lists? Joan
