PETER KLOP appears to be the PETER KLOB with wife Margaret who had a son George bp.29 May 1748 at Saltenreich Reformed Congregation, Lancaster Co., PA. This family appears im Lincoln Co., NC 1753 where the name is changed to CLUBB. He is suspected to be from Alsace and possible origins in Switzerland. BIEBER/BEAVER: Several members of this family on ship Lydia from Hirschland Lutheran KB in Alsace as identified by Annette Burgert. Some of this family in NC early 1750s. JACOB MANI family records can be found at Deidendorf, Butten and Keskastel Reformed Churches in Alsace. He m.25 Aug 1716 at Keskastle to Anna Maria Werli. The Mani family originates in Dotzigen, Canton Bern Switzerland but spent a number of years in Alsace. The Werli family originates at Dolen, Canton Bern, Switzerland. Jacob Mani, Jr b. 1717 at Keskastle m. ca 1739 Catharina Egger/Ecker, dau of Hans Peter Egger/Ecker and wife Veronica Gullman. The Jacob Mani, Jr. family was in Lincoln Co., NC by 1763 where the name became Mauney and Mooney. HANS PETER EGGER of Frutigen, Canton Bern Switzerland m.12 Jan 1714 Vrena/Veronica Gullmann/Gilmann bp.17 Feb 1689 Reichenbach, Canton Bern Switzerland. Daughters Barbara and Catharina appear to have been b. in CH before the family moved into Alsace by 1720 where three sons births and/or baptisms and confirmations of the five children can be found at Diemerigen, Keskastle and Diedendorf Reformed Churches. Members of this family in Lincoln Co., NC by 1751. The name became Ecker in Alsace and PA then Eaker in NC. He was listed age 40 on ship (b. 1701) but is believed to be the one b. 1689 at Adelboden Both the Jacob Mani, Jr, Family and the Hans Peter Ecker family can be found at Muddy Creek in Lancaster Co., PA prior to their move to NC.
