Thanks to Candy for the great recipes. Speaking of recipes, does anyone out there have any for a low-fat, low-salt diet? My husband took ill on Oct. 24th and subsequently had quadruple bypass surgery. He's home now and healing. Our previous diet mostly consisted of homemade, and yours truly thought she was being careful with the fat and salt. Now, hunting through the grocery stores and reading every label, I am amazed at the sodium and fat content of the products out there. Cutting the fat isn't too hard, but it is particularly difficult to stay within the 2,000 mg. of salt required for my husband's diet, despite salt substitute. Well, anyway, praise God I got him to the hospital in time, and thank the Lord for food labeling. Any tips will be gratefully received.
