Greetings! I have a puzzle for which I need help please. My grandfather's pedigree chart shows his grandfather Jacob Gossert/Gossard as being born in "Antrim township, Cumberland, PA. Further down the chart, when a county is mentioned, it is definately followed by the Co. for county as m: may 7 1801 in Washington Co., MD or d: 1862 in Marion, Franklin Co., PA The library catalog at the FamHistCenter lists the following for Antrim Antrim Township, Franklin Co, PA Incorporated in 1745 etc. So is Antrim Township in Franklin or Cumberland Co? Hope someone can enlighten me as I have a microfilm of a very old census and don't know what county to check for.
