I am a veteran of WWII but I salute the veterans of all wars. They served when their country called, some, including my friends, gave their lives. "War is Hell" and everyone should be grateful for the sacrifice our men and women made on their country's behalf. > I have a real problem with people who take out their frustrations on the Vietnam veterans. Don't blame them - they didn't plan the war, they didn't start the war, they would rather not have been there. If you must sound off, do it to the country's leaders, not the soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen! They were wars of the United States of America, no the veteran's wars. > My country, right or wrong, is still my country! I will do all I can to correct and improve it, but I will not condemn those who answered its call, in any and all wars. I know of no better country in the world, do you? > David Huffines, Chaplain (Capt) U S Army - Now a retired civilian (A Signal Corps Officer in WWII) David Huffines ==== PENNA-DUTCH Mailing List ==== Visit other PDL listmember webpages.
