John Christy(Christie) or (Christen) (Krist) (Crist) landed in Lancaster County. b 1706 d 1790. Records show his son John, (Hans) purchased land in Antrim township, in Franklin county Pennsylvania in 1791. List of descendants of Swiss Mennonite settlers from England or Switzerland, who reached Lancaster county between 1717 and 1720. He owned a mill on Conestoga River in 1750 and his oldest son was baptized in 1742. His wife was Anna Schultz Kreider or Nancy. He had 3 wives , others were Anna Susan Spanhauer, and Marie Goss Bersinger. Am trying to determine what country he was from. Thank you. Rosie Christy rchristy@npwt.net
