    3. It's a good recipe, but the story is one of the famous "urban legends" (untrue) on the internet. It's been dormant for a while so I guess it's about time for it come "creeping out of its grave." This is the Nieman-Marcus site. Look for the "Cookie Monster" under Customer Service: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/ Try this site for more info on these kinds of things: http://www.kumite.com/myths/ Another one: http://www.realtime.net/~guppy/uls/legends.html > ---------- > From: Denn Bottorff[SMTP:bottorff@polarnet.com] > Sent: Friday, October 10, 1997 2:06 AM > To: PENNA-DUTCH-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Expensive Cookie Recipe > > Just in time for Christmas!! > > I received this from a friend who asked me to pass it along to > everyone I > >knew who had an E-mail address, what a better way to send it. > > >Subject: Cookie Recipe > > > >Neiman-Marcus Cookies > > > >THIS IS TRUE----PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ IT AND PLEASE SEND THIS > >TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON YOU KNOW WHO HAS AN E-MAIL ADDRESS....THIS IS > REALLY > >TERRIFIC. > > > >My daughter & I had just finished a salad at Neiman-Marcus Cafe in > Dallas & > >decided to have a small dessert.
