Say the word 'Daniel" v-e-r-y slowly, especially at the "ni" & notice how your tongue is situated in your mouth. If just a tad further back on the tongue, if placed on the roof of your mouth, you get something that *may* sound like a "ng". I don't think that's too far-fetched, considering the different dialects *and* that the "English" were writing these names! I certainly would not dismiss this Dangel - I'd "go for it!" We've got to be *very* creative!! -Linnea
