Greetings All! Has anyone ever heard of Adam Hohenadel from Niederbetschdorf. He was born July 20, 1805 and family lore has him immigrating to this country from Darmstadt around 1835. We think he landed in Baltimore, MD and moved on to Pennsylvania where he settled for keeps near Waynsboro, dying 15 Sep, 1865. He was married to Markreda Mitchel. They had the following children that we know of: Lisabertha Hohenadel 1833 Luiese Hohenadel 1834 Johannes Hohenadel 1836 Franz Hohenadel 1838 (changed to Francis Honodel) Markreda Hohenadel 1840 Meri E. Hohenadel 1842 Adam Hohenadel 1844 Katharinna Hohenadel 1847 Johannes Heinrich Hohenadel 1849 Jakob Hohenadel 1853 Susan Hohenadel 1859 Hope someone has heard of this family.
