Has anyone found a homeland/immigration date for the Georg Adam Bortz who bought land in Lower Macungie Twp., present-day Lehigh Co., in 1750? Anyone trace the families of any of Georg Adam's children other than Michael, b. 1758, recorded in Lehigh Luth. Ch., Lower Macungie? My line is through Michael, who migrated to Westmoreland County, PA in early 1800s. I have fairly good records for his family but have nothing on marriages, children, or possible migrations of other of Georg Adam's children. Lehigh Luth. Church lists the births/baptisms of five children for Georg Adam and Barbara Bortz. Anyone find any other children? Has anyone found any probate records for Georg Adam? Lastly, (for now), has anyone made a connection between Georg Adam and the other Bortz families that eventually appear in the Lehigh Church records? I've been told that these later families immigrated to America in 1760s. Any little tidbit would be welcome! Candy
