I don't think I've found them yet. Hi Jocelyn- I know you asked your question on the PADUTCH-LIFE list but I think the answer to the question may benefit many new subscribers (and oldtimers also) to all of our PA DUTCH lists, so I am posting my reply to all three RootsWeb PA Dutch mailing lists. To access the archives for the PADutch mailing lists all you need to do is visit this website: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl On this page type in the name of the list you wish to search the archives for: PADUTCH-LIFE, PENNA-DUTCH, or PADUTCHgenONLY, and then select the year you wish to search and the subject you wish to search for. Then you will get a list of the messages that match this criteria and you can read any of them you want. Also, since about February of this year RootsWeb has made available a new HTML threaded archives and all three of the PADutch mailing lists are registered with this new archives. Messages posted to these lists beginning at about that time are archived here as well as in the older archive. The URLs to access each of the PADutch list's archives are as follows: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/PADUTCH-LIFE-L/ http://archiver.rootsweb.com/PADUTCHGENONLY-L/ and http://archiver.rootsweb.com/PENNA-DUTCH-L/ Note: these URLs are case sensitive. The first time you visit the new archives you will need to establish a user ID (your name) and select a password (any password of your choosing). From that time on you can visit the archives of any list using this same ID and password. Eventually this new archive will replace the older one mentioned above and the back message from each list will be back-filled into the new archives. Many improvements are in the works at RootsWeb and this is but one of them. There are some exciting days ahead. Enjoy! Joan
