On the ship Elizabeth in 1733 on list A there is a Hans Martin Troud, age 56; and next on the list is Hans Jurigh Ley, sick, age 28. On lists B and C Hans Jurigh Ley's name does NOT appear indicating he may have been detained on the ship since he was sick. The name Johan Debalt Trautt DOES appear on both lists B & C. He signed his own name to those two lists so I believe his name is correct as he wrote it himself--Johan Debalt Trautt. My guess is that he would have been Hans Jurigh's (Georg) father in law or other close relative. The women's names don't appear on these lists so I think it is quite likely that the couple were already married and Georg's wife and father-in-law (or both parents) accompanied them on the trip. These families don't appear in the Burgert book listing emigrants from Northern Alsace--unfortunately I don't have the other books by her to check them. You might want to try to locate them in a library near you. Joan
