Does anyone have information on the Ickes family village in Germany? Nicholas and John Henry immigrated Sept 16, 1738 on the ship Queen Elizabeth. The name is spelled Eakers and Yeeks on the ships lists. They are ancestors of Harold Ickes who was in the cabinet of FDR. My Silvius clan was on the same ship. Nicholas Ickes was the godparent of my ggggggrandfather Nicholas Silvius in 1742/3 and I believe they are from the same area. All help is appreciated. Thanks. Annie
