HHi , I am researching the Otto and Orth families in Lancaster County. My great grandmother was Elezabeth Dasch (possibly Dasher or Dascher) who was born in Germany and came to Penna. about 1850. She married John Otto who also came from Germany. They had two children Helena and Peter. John Otto was a prisoner of war in thee Civil War and died at Andersonville. His widow later married John(?) Orth and lived in Marietta. They had twwo children Fred and John Orth. I would appreciate any help you are able to give me. Gene Straley ES1311
