I am searching for information on Jacob GEARHART (also spelled GERHARD/GERHART/GERHARDT) who lived in Whitpain Twp., Montgomery County, PA. He married first Catherine (maiden name unknown) then Mary Magdelina (maiden name unknown). His second wife was known as Mary (she was born 23 Oct 1767, died 27 Jan 1857) Jacob and Catherine had two daughters, Hanna (b. 5 May 1787) and Catherine (b. 3 Jun 1790). His first wife, Catherine, died after the birth of their second daughter Catherine. Jacob and Mary had at least three children: Johannes (b. 1 Aug 1791), Abraham (b. 16 Nov 1796) and Jacob Jr. A Charles Gearhart was a grandson of Jacob's and mentioned in his will. Jacob Gearhart died 4 April 1846. Both he and Mary are buried at Boehm's Church in Whitpain Twp.
