I am searching for information on Catharine GEISIN who married Johann Bernhardt (Barnabas or Barney) GERHARDT. They were married at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Germantown on 2 Feb 1784. She was listed as from Whitpain Twp. Because her name ended in an "in" I'm guessing another possibility for her maiden name could be GEIS of GEISS. They had the following children that I know of: Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Henry, Philip, Samuel, and Mary Any information on Catherine GEISIN (or GEIS??), her parents, g-parents, siblings, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
