Betty, I am also from the Johann Andrew Yeager line. Recently I got from a most gracious person the records from the New Hanover Lutheran Church which lists the children of Johann Andreas/Andrew Yeager/Jorger. A marriage in 1745 to Catherine Conrad. Death records of some of the children and Hans Martin. (Many different spellings are used in these records for what I believe is the Yeager name) One record bothers me and that is a death record for Andreas Yorger (umlatts over the "o") died August 28 1774 at 49 years, 6 m. 4 w. and 1 d. This would make the age at death the correct age for the Johann Andreas who married in 1745 being about 20 years old when he married. The Johann Andreas Yeager I have info on died in 1787 in Virginia after marrying a second wife Margaret Sommers/Summers and having 4 more children. These church records also show Catherine Jorger (again umlatts over the "o") wife of Andreas died December 3 1769 38 y. 1m. 4 w 1 d. I believe this is the time frame I had for her death. (from memory) Much of the other info seems to be the same as what I had. Your thoughts and any info appreciated.
