My 4great grandfather, Sebastian HERLEMAN emigrated from Germany. He arrived in Philadelphia on the ship Molly on 16 Oct 1741. His first location was near the village of Trappe in then Philadelphia County. On the passenger list, the captain indicated that the passengers were all Palatines. My goal is to find the location of the town in Germany where he lived prior to emigration. I am hopeful that someone on this list either recognizes the name (spelled Hexleman on the passenger list) or may know one or more of the other passengers on this voyage and may be able to advise me of their location prior to this emigration. He is believed to have been single upon arrival and married shortly thereafter. His first two children were baptized in the Augustus Evangelical Lutheran Church in Trappe in 1742 and 1747. In 1859 he moved to York County, purchased a 213 acre plantation and lived there until his death in 1794. I am very new at this and would appreciate any help or advise to assist me in this search. Thanks in advance. Thom in CA

Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
