Hi list, I just join this list not to long ago. Looking for any information on Wendel Wiant from Montgomery Co, Pa. And information on the New Goshenhoppen Reformed Church. Wendel Wiandt last name can be spelled about 40 different ways. Wiant, Wyant, Wyandt, Wiandt and so on. Also have found the name to be spelled Wigand and all the different ways like Wygandt, Wigandt and so on. This is how hard it is to find information on the right Wiandt family line. And to top it off most of their first names are Johannes. Will enough on that. I'm looking for a Wendel Wiant who was a member of the New Goshenhoppen Reformed Church in Montgomery Co, Pa. The information I have is Wendel Wiant was born July 14, 1709 in Freinsheim, Palatinate, (Germany) came to America in 1729 on the Mortonhouse. Wendel died June 22, 1787 in Montgomery Co, Pa. He was married to Ann Margaret Fischer 1730 in Pa. Any information on Wenel would be very helpful. Also trying to locate information on his son Jacob Wiant. He was born around 1740 in Pa. Jacob moved to Ohio in 1806 and died in 1809. Is there anyone working on this Wiant family line? Or any Wiandt, Wiant, Wyant family line?
