Hello list, I am brand new. I am looking for the maiden name and family details for Elizabeth unknown, wife of Conrad Harleman who lived in Vincent, Pikeland and Coventry Townships from about 1762 through about 1808. Conrad's last name was misspelled as Hardeman in the 1790 census. Elizabeth was born in Aug 1746 in PA and died in 1818 in Northampton County, PA. Her tombstone in Palmerton says only "the wife of Conrad Harleman". One clue may be that a lady named Muertz was a witness at the baptism of their first child in Zion's Lutheran Church in Vincent Twp. I would appreciate any help possible to eliminate this brick wall. Tom, I noticed that you were also researching Ross. By any chance are you related to Sul Ross who was a Lieutenant in the Texas Rangers and served in Hood's Brigade during the Civil War. My ggrandfather, Hiram Berry Rogers served with Sul Ross both in the Texas Rangers and in the Civil War.
