Hello, I'm new to the list as of this past week. I noted with interest a reference to Hans MAYER. Can you tell me more about him? I have MAYER/MEYERs from Germany , one being Johannes Hans MEYER who married his 2nd wife, Anna Maria Essel in Tulpechocken Twp., Berks Co., PA on Jan. 8,1746. One of their daughters, Maria Catherine MAYER, married my ancestor, Henrich Erasmus DEISSINGER. Maria Catherine was born after 1748 and died in 1766 in TulpechockenTwp. Berks Co. PA. Johannes Hans MEYER's father was Michael MEYER and his mother was Anna (Mrs.) MEYER. Other children born to Michael and Anna (Mrs.) were: Anna Barbara MEYER, Georg MEYER, and Heinrich MAYER.
