Speaking of Diehl .... My ancestor Anna Margarethe Diehl (or Thiel) was born abt. 1684, Flonheim, married Johann Philip Wendel of Framersheim, and came to the Germanna Colony in Virginia with one of her sons, about 1732, where she died. I've often wondered whether and how the Diehls who came to Pennsylvania in the 1700s may have been related to her. I'd love to hear from anyone with a theory.
