Hello Julie, You can download the Personal Ancestral File program from the LDS for free, go to www.familysearch.org then click on the link at the top right of the page ORDER/DOWNLOAD PRODUCTS, then click SOFTWARE/DOWNLOADS FREE, the first one on the list is the newest version of the program.
