Louisa Rowland in her 'Baptisms Broadwater, Sussex' includes a family to John and Ann Penfold born between 1715 and 1735. Amongst them is Edward, born 31st July 1724. I have an Edward who married Catharine Constable in 1754 in Chichester. They were both recorded in the parish register as from Arundel. The IGI gives the same Edward as being born in Chichester about 1730 but my own searches of the parish register of St Peter the Great do not confirm this. Could the Edward born in Broadwater be the one I am seeking?? Sid Geoghegan Southport England
