Hi All Thanks to everyone for the advice. In response to Trevor I have Family Origins Version 6. I have checked it since receiving your replies and it does have import GEDCOM under File. How do get Family Origins to see the GEDCOM file I've been sent? It can't find it if I try to import from Family Origins. If I try to open the GEDCOM file from the email I get a msg that windows cannot find AcroRd32.exe . Does anyone know what this is? Guess I'm not very good at this. Hope you can help some more.
