Kate, The information I have about Elijah is b abt 1801 d Dec 1st 1850 christened 26th September 1801 in Alford Surrey he married Sophia Knight on 12th November 1822 in All Saints Parish Church Banstead Surrey. Sophia was b 1801 and d 24th August 1850 in Banstead Surrey. Hi John Hope you don't mind my mentioning that Elijah's mother Jen would have been Jane not Jennifer. Jenny (usually pronounced Jinny in England) was a pet form of Jane and and only became used for Jennifer in the 20th century. Incidentally Jennifer was a Cornish name Jenifer (Guinevere - 'of King Arthur fame') and the 'nn' spelling only came in when it was associated with Jenny in the 20th century.
