He married Mary born abt.1689 & they are shown as having a daughter Ann born 10 May 1741 in Twineham. Thomas's father was also a Thomas Penfold b. abt. 1663 in Horsham - he married Elizabeth Younge b. abt. 1667 in Horsham. The 1881 census shows a William Pennyfold aged 8, born Shipley, living at 7 Jeffrey Street Maidstone, Kent at the home of Elizabeth Fry. I couldn't find him in the 1901 Census. My line of Penfolds comes from around Pulborough & Angmering, which aren't that far from Shipley, but I have no connection as yet.
