The Thomas Pullen that married Elizabeth Penfold on 29 May 1797 at Chichester is my ggg grandfather. I have Elizabeth's parents as being William Penfold b. 1741 in Angmering and Elizabeth Henley b. 1747 in Angmering. They married on 6 October 1765 at Angmering and besides Elizabeth also had William b. 1769, John b. 1774 and James b. 1774 (? twins). James married Susannah Coates on 27 May 1787 at Cuckfield, Sussex. Thomas & Elizabeth Pullen had 8 children - Elizabeth b. 1801, Thomas b. 1803, Daniel b. 1805 Charlotte b. 1810, David b. 1813, Jane, b. 1819 , John b. 1815, Harriet b. 1821. Daniel married Frances Fletcher on 10 October 1824 at Worplesdon, Surrey and they had 10 children one of whom (Ann b.1831) married William Clayton on 2 June 1851 at Woking, Surrey. Wm & Ann had a son, also William Clayton b. 19 Nov. 1856 who married Elizabeth Crane and they had a daughter Florence b. 1884 who was my grandmother. One of her children Arthur Albert Cecil was my father If anyone is interested I can supply more info.
