Hi Ron! How do you know his birth date and not where? Does itjust give Sussex as place of birth? Did you find it on a Census? Maybe look on another one and it will give the place. I will look in my records, but if you have no idea where in Sussex,it would be hard to find. I have researched a lot of places in Sussex, but some parishes were not for Penfolds, I am also researching Rowland, Pennifold, and scads of others. I will look through my records to see if I can find one born 1817.
