Hi Julie and Telford, Not my correspondence I know...But if you ever go looking for Frances nee Oxall noted below, you might well find that she was nee Boxall, which is a very popular name in that area even now - Oxall I have never come across, but Haslemere, a few miles from Lurgashall, was - is - full of Boxalls and Boxells. There is a Boxalland Farm at Lurgashall - not sure what came first, the place or the name.
