Hi list, Regarding the placenames in the information below, "Farnhurst" is now "Fernhurst" and "?Aisbourne" is almost certainly Easebourne, just south of Fernhurst on the Midhurst road. Very pretty part of the country. Thanks Rebecca, Really appreciate the information.As always with records it depends on accent & literacy of the people and not being very familiar with English places it's difficult for me to work out correct names. I will be spending a week in Eastbourne in June this year-a friend & I are doing the ancestor trek & have a car for 5 weeks travelling around.
