I am Ian Wingfield. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I have been researching my family for about 6 years with some good success in some of my lines. I am however at a block with my Streeter and Penfold ancestry. My gr gr grandmother was Susan Augusta Chantler Penfold. b 1838 at Horsham, Sussex. She married George Streeter of Horsham, Sussex. My mother is a Streeter descended from this line. Her mother was Emily Penfold b 1818 at Horsham, Sussex Emily's parents were William Penfold and Sarah Muggeridge (Mugridge) both of Horsham, Sussex I was christened in Roffey Methodist Church (adjacent to Horsham) during the war as my grandfather Frederick Streeter sent us to live with my gr grandparents (Meads)when the V1's started coming to London. I came to Canada in 1946 as my mother was a war bride who married a Canadian soldier.
