Hi Sue, If you ever get as far as noting all the Thomas Penfolds born in Sussex in the correct period, one you won't want is Thomas son of Richard and Sarah, bapt Rodmell 25 July 1819, as he died aged six. I went straight to my file as soon as I saw your posting, as I was sure I had a Thomas, so I'm disappointed not to be of more help.
