They lived in the Montreal,Quebec area starting in the mid 1800. He worked for the railroad and at the time of his death was station master at "Dixie"... which was a station near Montreal. He had two children that I know of , JOhn Penfold and Fannie Penfold Coffey (my gmother.) John had two children Geoffrey who became a priest and Winifred Maude (Lyle) Penfold who apparently never married. Both of them died in the med 1950's in the Vancoulver BC area. My gmother had 9 children, seven of whom lived to adulthood.. My mother was Rita Penfold Coffey ( Ryan)
