Good afternoon, Can anyone tell me if the book, "Early German Settlers of York County, Pennsylvania" by Keith A. Dull has anyone of the surname Crouse/Kraus/Krauss or any other variation listed in it. I am thinking about purchasing it and would like to know in advance if it might possibly be worth it. The index does not have any entry for Crouse. It has one page number for Kraus and three page numbers for Krauss. There is also a Krause on the same page as one of the Krauss. However, all but one of the entries are sponsors of baptisms. They do not contain family information on Kraus/Krauss. The one entry that does have Krauss family information is simply the maiden name of the mother of a woman who married into the Gerberich family.
