Based on some new information given to me by a professional genealogist from Nesbo, North Carolina, we now strongly believe the father of our Robert Fergason is: Andrew Ferguson born about 1724 Scotland died 7/25/1810 Lincoln Co, NC(wife Mary) who was the son of Robert Ferguson born about 1700 Scotland, died 12/3/1794 Tyrone/Lincoln Co, NC (wife Mary Fitzpatrick married about 1721 Scotland; married Sarah Sims about 1760 in PA probably York Co) who was the son of John Ferguson born about 1685 Scotland (wife Margaret Douglas).
