Hello All, I have come across conflicting information regarding the maiden name of Johan Philip Ziegler's wife, Anna Margaretha. This is the Philip Ziegler that lived in Manchester Township (now West Manchester). He was born in 1714 in Germany and died in 1800. Anna Margaretha was born 1717 and died in 1783. Most documentation of others lists Margaretha's maiden name as SCHMIDT, but I have not come across any source to prove this. Can anyone point to where this reference is? I do have a copy of an Indenture dated 14 October 1763 regarding the real estate of Killian " Smyth " and "Smith" (spelled both ways in the document), who died intestate. It lists his daughter Anna Margaretha married to Philip Zielger , a daughter Anna Maria married to Andrew Nebinger , and a daughter Maria Agnes married to Peter Wolf. This indenture conveys the 200 acres to Wolf, who paid the sum of 80 pounds to Ziegler and Nebinger . I have not check the York County Archives for an estate file for Killian, so that may be what I need to do. In the meantime, any suggestions from anyone? Thanks, Todd Zeigler
