Hello all, I have been wondering if the Mary ZEIGLER (wife of Valentine FICKES) and Eve / Eva ZEIGLER b. 1784 d. 1850 (wife of Valentine's brother Benjamin FICKES ) and Catharine ZEIGLER (who was the first wife of Abraham DEARDORFF / DEARDORF) b. 1782 d. 1871 are all sisters. I am also trying to prove whether they had a brother, Martin Zeigler, b. 1779. who had a wife named Susannah. She may have been a second wife. These families are all first found in York County, PA and Adams County, PA in the Latimore Twp. area as well as Carlisle, and York Springs. Martin migrated to Perry County, PA/ Their surnames are spelled in various ways --- ZEIGLER, ZIEGLER, ZIGLER, SICHLER, ZICHLER, ZIGLAR, ETC. DEARDORF, DEARDORFF, DIERDORFF, DIERDORF, DEERDORF, DEERDORF, DURDORFF, ETC. FICKES, FICKEL, FICKUS, FICUS, ETC. ANY help anyone can offer on this idea would be VERY much appreciated. Elizabeth
