I too have no proof but I will try to find you the source of my info. Jacob is the son of Abraham Hassler and Christina Bortner, daughter of Georg Bortner and Maria Appolonia Floucher. Abraham born Oct 4, 1761 is the 5th and youngest son of Michael Hassler born in Canton Berne, Switzerland and Margareta. Abraham died 17 May 1803 in Codorus Twp, York Co.
