July 19, 1809 in Chester County PA. By 1850 he was working in the iron industry as a forgeman in Perry County, PA. I know he lived breifly in Wrightsville, York County. Married Deborah Jane Harland (of he George Harland / Harlan) line. Had children Ellis, Mary, Matilda, Henrietta, Nancy, Elizabeth, Caroline, Sarah.
