The description is taken from the deed. "April 4, 1848, 4 lots, borough of York, York, PA on the east side of Codorus Creek, 66,68,70,72 being contiguous to each other and bounded on the north by an alley, on the south by South St. on the east by Queen St and on the west by another public alley. It being the same four lots or pieces of ground which Pet. Caller and James B Wells and their wives by their indenture had executed on 16 April 1838." I will be visiting York for a day to visit graveyards and would like to visit the site of their home if it still exists.
