This is the first reference to Trown in Sheffield I've been able to find, and I'd be interested in any information you may have found since about the Trown family, which is related to mine by marriage. You probably have found your Karl Louis Richard in the 1871 Sheffield census, married to Fanny, who I believe appears as Francis Trown in the 1861 census of the Trown family. I believe that Fanny was the sister of Hilda Mary Trown, who married my great uncle in 1892.
