I guess I've been thinking about York County because Dillsburg is in York County, but being so close to the county border, I suppose I should also post my query in Adams and Cumberland Counties. Trouble is, I just have no indication where my John SMITH may have come from. For all I know, I should be looking at northern Maryland as well!
