Feb 16,1810 died Sept 22, 1846 age 36-7-6. He is buried in the same cemetery as his father and mother East Berlin Cem, Hamilton Twp Adams Co. York Orphans Court record W-55 4/3/1848 Washington Twp for Daniel Nickey: Widow Martha is made guardian of daughter Elizabeth under 14 years old. Daniel Nickey shows up as a single man fron 1835 to 1846 in the taxes of Washington Twp. Therefore my thought is that Elizabeth was born 1846-1848. I looked for her and Martha in the 1850 census and did not find them. Daniel's mother Catherine died April 28, 1867 age 87-5-8. In 1850 she is 72 living with Daniel's brother Henry who bought his father's place. John Nickey shows up in Washington Twp for the first time in 1827 where he has 148 Acres plus 30 acres in Adams Co. which he is taxes on first in 1829.
