However, I am up against a wall in trying to find the ancestors of Sampson Smith Sr., the man married Elizabeth "Betsy" Dunkin/Duncan, July 5, 1798 in York, York County, Pa. Have you discovered who his parents are? You have spoken elswhere, I believe, about a Rev. Sampson Smith who was associated with the Shrewsbury Presbyterian Church in Hopewell Township from 1761 to 1771. Is he the father?
