I don't remember if it came from my grandmother or someplace else. It appears to be from the late 1800s. It is of three young women and on the back is written: Martha Spangler, Daisy Bentzel, Emma Gross. I have found three people who could be the girls in the photo. All were born between 1885 and 1890 and all lived in Jackson Township, York County. However, I can't find any family relationship among them. Was it common to have your picture taken with friends back then?
