He settled either in Chicago Illinois or in or near Milwaukee wisconsin...he didnt go to texas or philadelphia.I dont know the name of the port anymore he left from...just thought I would add some additional information...he ended up homesteading and dieing quite poorly...Im wondering WHY HE LEFT GERMANY?
