Sam, I took a drive out there this after noon and could not locate any resemblance of a cemetery. Campbell road has been an industrial park for many years. There are a smattering of houses behind that. I have the feeling that the cemetery was plowed under or the stones replaces to the corner of the property somewhere. Its possible its covered with brush in an unutilized corner of someones property. Sorry this did not yield more. But I would contact the YCHT to see if they can help. I'm not sure when Campbell chain was built on Campbell road but I believe that was the start of the industrial park. There may be records amongst the old newspapers which will give you an idea as to what might have happened to it. You can send and email through the YCHT to Lilla Fourman she has been the director there for a long time. She will have an idea as to where to look. You can tell her Melissa Fitzkee sent you. In a message dated 8/8/2010 1:02:06 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: I'm seeking information about the Kindig Burial Ground which is located in Hellam Twp. Does anyone know if this cemetery has been photographed, indexed, etc. and if any records exist? I've found very little information other than its existence. Appreciate any information that might be available. Thanks in advance for your help!
