I have this York/Adams Co, PA sighting for him bef he slid on down into Thurmont, Fredericktown and Craigerstown in Frederick Co, MD by 1780 and later into Rowan Co, NC by 1790: 21 Apr 1776 COMMUNION- Balsar Duttero is on the list of married men taking communion held by Rev Chas Lewis Boehme in Christ (Ref) Church, Littlestown, York/Adams Co, PA, same church as Ludwig Clemmer and family from Friedelsheim in the Pfalz Germany. [Mem in this ch inc several DOTTERER, CLEMMERs &YOUNGs] He was a BIL to my gf Valentine "Felty" CLEMMER 1746 who attended Christ Evangelical & Reformed Church (Conewago) Littlestown, PA. I would appreciate your searching any old church mar records you have access to bef 1790. Or, advise me of the existence of any such mar rec. Once I grasped the intricacies of the Index etc I found a deed that was of interest and have contacted the Archives in order to obtain a copy - not sure though how that will work from UK. We shall see.... May I ask if, when someone is granted land under the details of a deceased person's will, does this appear in the Grantor/Grantee Lists? Would it appear under the Executor's name or the name of the deceased person do you think? Names of interest are mainly KINDIG / LINEBAUGH and IRWIN / ERWIN.
