Adam,but now wondering who this George is (we've "weeded" through about 16 of them now) as it seems they're related somehow........ Thanks so much! Lori --------------- this could be my family i have a george platz born in 1763 his father was adam Nicholus Platz born circa 1740 and he married Barbara Lonit at st.michaels zion luthern church in philadelphia ,Pennslvania ,USA on the date of June 9 ,1761 Adam platz came from what is now upper saxony state of germany possibly near city of dresden. George platz has a son named William Platz born august 24,1823 in sommerset county ,PA they moved to missouri where my father was born eventually over a century later. william platz was my Great x3 grand father. after the american revolutionary war adam and his son george both survived the bloody war with great britain but Adam moved back to Germany becasue he looked as hard as he could and not find george so Adam was never heard from again and we dont know when he died. from, Jon Black Akron,Ohio Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
